Moon and Stars was at Ballinderry Primary School on June 2nd. They were hosting their first summer craft fair and there was a great turnout.

Tuesday Bell Fair

The event at the Tuesday Bell went very well. Most of the staff had mini tarot readings. I think it did need some more advertising though. I think they will be holding events in the future.

Moon and Stars will hopefully have a stall at the fair in honour of Clic Sargent on April 23rd between 3 and 6pm. We will be selling crystals, candles, books and more. I will be offering mini tarot readings too. I hope everyone can attend and that we raise a lot of money for this worthwhile cause:)

Halloween fair

Our Halloween Fair was on Sunday the 27th October at Laganview Enterprise Centre, Lisburn. It was a good day-not a huge turnout but for a first time I think it went well. All the stallholders that turned out were very nice and there was so much variety. I picked up a few things myself:)

I think we will organize another event towards Christmas time.

Halloween Craft Fair October 27th 2013

Moon and Stars Online is organizing a Halloween Craft Fair on Sunday October 27th in Lisburn. We are currently looking for stall holders. At the moment we have a Tarot reader, Wonder Scents, a fashion stall, face painting and more. The fair is for local people to show off their goods and to provide a fun day out. I will keep everyone updated on any further news. Everyone is welcome and it is free entry.

Love is in the air...

July already:) Finally we are seeing some sun. Lammas is coming up on the first of August and is a popular time for handfastings. Pagan weddings are now legal in Ireland so if you are looking for a traditional ceremony then August is the perfect time.
Lammas is the first of the harvest festivals for the year.

The Year Ahead

April is nearly over already. Spring is starting to arrive. Over the rest of the year I wil be making the effort to blog more often. For the next week until April 28th Moon and Stars will be offering a Love Tarot reading for the year ahead and a mini birth chart for only £5.00.
The Love tarot has been very popular. The spread can tell you if you are going to meet someone in the next few months and how past relationships have/are affecting current relationships. I think it is natural to compare our relationships and if you have had a string of bad ones then you start to think that every relationship will end badly but each person is different. If you are looking for love or even just advice on your current relationship then let us know and we will send you a reading.

Spring?

Apologies I haven't been on in a while. Been v busy the last couple of months. March already. Spring has yet to make an appearance - its snowing outside as I write this. I am looking forward to spring when the weather gets warmer, the days are longer and you don't have to wear so many layers!
March 21st marks the Equinox. It is sure to be a time of celebration.

Well we made it past the Mayan deadline. Role on 2013! Moon and Stars will be working hard over the next few months to bring a line of products to you. More info to follow. For tomorrow only - January 1st, we will be offering a two page Tarot reading report for only £5.00 plus a mini birth chart.

Only two days to Halloween. Pumpkins are carved, costume is ready, cannot wait. It should be noted that Halloween is not just a day for celebration. It is also a day to remember the dead and honor our ancestors. Light a candle for those who have passed. At dinner lay a place at the table for them too to let them know they are remembered.

We are holding our very first psychic workshop and fair. On October 28th in Blick Studios, 51 Malone Road Belfast. Tickets are on sale now. 15.00 each which includes a private reading or 10.00 if you do not want a reading. There will be talks by local medium and a local tarot reader, plus stalls available on the day. tea and coffee provided.

Autumn is here.

Summer is nearly over. (did it ever begin?) autumn will be here soon. Autumn is my favourite time of year. Today while shopping I saw Halloween costumes in one shop and Christmas cards in another! By my calendar it is only the 28th of August! Why all the hype! Yes Christmas is a great time of year but do we need it shoved down our throats four months early? I remember growing up when you didn't see any sign of Christmas until the third week of November. Why the rush? For the next few months I will be avoiding shops so I don't have to look at tinsel and trees. I think any holiday whether it is Halloween, Christmas or Easter is fun to celebrate and part of the excitement is the build up and lead up to the day. If we all went out tomorrow and started stocking up on Christmas cards we would be sick of it by mid September. Enjoy autumn first before we rush into winter. Whatever the season though be sure to have fun and remember not everything needs to be in a hurry.

Its Lughnasadh or Lammas tomorrow (Aug 1st). It is the first of the harvest festivals celebrating Mother Earth. The expression 'reap what you sow' springs to mind. Karma is a powerful force. If you put out negative energy it will come back on you. Likewise for good energy. Have you ever held a door for someone or helped someone with their shopping only for a stranger to do the same for you? I have had this happen lots of times. Of course your good deed has to be genuine. You can't just do it in hopes of getting something in return.
Think about it this Lammas and the next time someone cuts you off in traffic remember they willl get theirs!

Summer is here. It's gone again. Oh wait its back! Hard to tell what time of year it is at the moment. Mother Nature is obviously in two minds. Coming up at the beginning of August is Lammas the first of the Harvest festivals. Hopefully we will get some good weather between then and now.

Attended a lovely craft and holistic fair on Sunday in Belfast. There was a lovely atmosphere and nice people. Had a lovely day. Possibly another fair later in the year - will keep you all informed.

It's been a while since I have posted, I have been very busy with parties. It's coming into the summer time now, not that you would know with the weather! The Summer Solstice is June 20th this year. Whatever the weather we can still celebrate this event in style.
Now is the time to plan ahead.

Spring is on the way!

It is the Spring Equinox on March 20th. Spring is always an exciting time and a time to give your life a good spring clean too. It is easy enough to give your house a clean, but how about trying to rid yourself of bad habits or old ways of doing things instead?
If you want to quit smoking or stop biting your nails then why not make the extra effort to do it this spring.

New Year, New You

It's 2012, the year of the Dragon and possibly the beginning of a new you. In Chinese astrology, the Dragon is a symbol of power. Why not try and tap into that power and do something for yourself. If you want to change your job or learn a new skill, then this year is the time to do it. A person born under the year of the Dragon is not afraid to get what they want and although sometimes they can be quite demanding they make good friends and strong allies. Even if you are not born under the year of the Dragon why not try adapting their persona. Stand up for what you believe in and if you have a dream then pursue and don't let anyone stand in your way.
