Love is in the air...

July already:) Finally we are seeing some sun. Lammas is coming up on the first of August and is a popular time for handfastings. Pagan weddings are now legal in Ireland so if you are looking for a traditional ceremony then August is the perfect time.
Lammas is the first of the harvest festivals for the year.

The Year Ahead

April is nearly over already. Spring is starting to arrive. Over the rest of the year I wil be making the effort to blog more often. For the next week until April 28th Moon and Stars will be offering a Love Tarot reading for the year ahead and a mini birth chart for only £5.00.
The Love tarot has been very popular. The spread can tell you if you are going to meet someone in the next few months and how past relationships have/are affecting current relationships. I think it is natural to compare our relationships and if you have had a string of bad ones then you start to think that every relationship will end badly but each person is different. Spring?

Apologies I haven't been on in a while. Been v busy the last couple of months. March already. Spring has yet to make an appearance - its snowing outside as I write this. I am looking forward to spring when the weather gets warmer, the days are longer and you don't have to wear so many layers!
March 21st marks the Equinox. It is sure to be a time of celebration.

Only two days to Halloween. Pumpkins are carved, costume is ready, cannot wait. It should be noted that Halloween is not just a day for celebration. It is also a day to remember the dead and honor our ancestors. Light a candle for those who have passed. At dinner lay a place at the table for them too to let them know they are remembered.

We are holding our very first psychic workshop and fair. On October 28th in Blick Studios, 51 Malone Road Belfast. Tickets are on sale now. 15.00 each which includes a private reading or 10.00 if you do not want a reading. There will be talks by local medium and a local tarot reader, plus stalls available on the day. tea and coffee provided.

Autumn is here.

Summer is nearly over. (did it ever begin?) autumn will be here soon. Autumn is my favourite time of year. Today while shopping I saw Halloween costumes in one shop and Christmas cards in another! By my calendar it is only the 28th of August! Why all the hype! Yes Christmas is a great time of year but do we need it shoved down our throats four months early? I remember growing up when you didn't see any sign of Christmas until the third week of November. Why the rush? For the next few months I will be avoiding shops so I don't have to look at tinsel and trees. I think any holiday whether it is Halloween, Christmas or Easter is fun to celebrate and part of the excitement is the build up and lead up to the day. If we all went out tomorrow and started stocking up on Christmas cards we would be sick of it by mid September. Enjoy autumn first before we rush into winter. Whatever the season though be sure to have fun and remember not everything needs to be in a hurry.
